<Preface>

Is there some principle of nature which states that we know the quality of what we have until it is gone?

Experience comes from what we have done,wisdom comes from what we have done badly.

Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.

Never does Nature say one thing and Wisdom another.

Everything is perfect coming from the hands of the creator;everything degenerates in the hands of man.

Nature knows no indecencies,man invents them.

<Teamwork>

A company is like a ship;everyone ought to be prepared to take the helm.

There is no limit to what you can do if you don't care who gets the credit.

Individual commitment to a group effort-----that is what makes a team work,a company work,a society work,a civilization work.

<Patience>

Never think that God's delays are God's denials.Hold on;hold fast;hold out.Patience is genius.千万不要误以为迟来的结果就是满盘皆输的结果.坚持下去,放慢脚步,再等一等.惟有"耐性"才是最聪明的选择.

Nature thrives on patience;man on impatience.大自然因拥有耐性而兴盛;人类因缺乏耐性而成长.

<Unity through Uniqueness>

When spider webs unite they can tie up a lion.许多蜘蛛网结合在一起就足以将一头猛狮牢牢束缚.

How much finer things are in composition than alone.分崩离析的个体绝对好不过一致的整体.

We must learn to live toghther as brothers or perish together as fools.我们必须视如兄弟般地一同学习,要不然,我们将如糙糠般地一起遭受毁灭.

If a house be divided against itself,that house cannot stand.

<Curiosity>

What I know doesn't impress me...what I don't know excites me.

The man who cannot wonder is but a pair of spectacles behind which there is no eye.

<Attitude>

People with a negative attitude brighten the whole room when they leave.

Get the right perspective.When Goliath against the Israelites,the soldiers all thought,"He's so big we can never kill him."David looked at the same giant and thought,"He's so big,how can I miss?"

<Failure>

People are like stained glass windows;they sparkle and shine when the sun is out,but when the darkness sets in,their true besuty is revealed only if there is light within.

<Communication>

The Great Spirit gave us two ears and one tongue so we can listen twice as much as we speak.

When the eyes say one thing and the tongue another,a practiced man relies on the language of the first.

<Perseverance>

Our greatest glory is not in  never falling but in rising every time we fall.

Perseverance is not a long race;it is many short races one after another.

<Strategy>

The best defensive strategy is the courage to attack yourself.

A strategy is trying to understands where you sit in today's world.Not where you wish you were or where your hoped you would be,but where you are.It's trying to understand where you want to be five years out.It's assessing the realistic chances of getting from here to there.

<Play>

Don't get so busy making a living that you don't know what you're lining for.

In every person is hidden a child who wants to play.

People who cannot find time for recreation are abliged sooner or later to find time for illness.

<Death and Survival>

The plains Indians thought:If the manner of your dying meant nothing,then manner of your living meant nothing.

<Loyalty>

Men exist for the sake of one another.

<Change>

Not everything that is faced can be changed.But noting can be changed until it is faced.

Conclusion

Two roads diverged in in a wood and I took the one less traveled--and that has made all the difference.

There is no security on this earth;there is only opportunity.
